Lee Bee Wah for president of STTA
I am really surprised that after all the negative outcry by the public, Lee Bee Wah is still considered a suitable candidate for the president position of Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA). I guess someone as talent as her are tough to find considering that she is also the MP for Ang Mo Kio GRC. After all how often can you find someone who is at a high position and yet can make comments like what she did even though the backlash is totally predictable.
Her public apology showcase even more of why she is a talent who should head the STTA.
“I had made comments which had been misunderstood and had upset some Singaporeans. I sincerely apologize for causing any grievances and any stress”
As all of you can see, her tactless and inappropriateness in handing the issue isn't the problem. It is the fault that some of us has misunderstood the comments made by her. I am glad the incident has come to a close now. Whoever still say bad things about her are just stupid, close minded and don’t have a clue about how good she is.
Oh yes, if you misunderstood my comments, I sincerely apologize if I have caused any grievances or any stress.
